National Truck Driver Appreciation Week Is Here!
Look around you. What do you see? A pen, mug, post it notes? Maybe you’re at home with a blanket and can see your tv. Maybe you’re out at a cafe sitting in a chair near freshly baked goods. No matter where you are, the items around you have something in common. They were delivered by a trucker.
Most people don’t know the hard work and hours that truckers put in just to make sure that goods get delivered on time all across the nation. In fact, over 3.5 million truckers are responsible for keeping America moving. Because they work so hard for us, it’s time to give back with National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.

From September 10th to September 16th America will take the time to honor transportation professionals all across the nation during National Truck Driver Appreciation week! Truck stops all over will be offering tons of free food, prizes, and more.
Love’s Truck stop has actually extended driver appreciation week to a month long event. During the entire month of September, drivers will receive a free shower and a free drink refill whenever they purchase 50 or more gallons of fuel. Drivers will also receive a free hat with the purchase of a 3 pack of gloves for $9.99.
Thousands of drivers will get $100 in My Love Rewards points, and one driver will even win $10k in rewards points. The luckiest driver of all will win 1 million My Love Rewards points, equal to $10,000 in value.
The Clearwater Travel Plaza in Minnesota is throwing a driver appreciation event from 3 to 6 on Tuesday the 12th. The event will have free food, health, screenings, games, and prizes. There will also be a representative from Snap Fitness there to offer membership deals.

Thank you for all the hard work you do. Truckers are the backbone of our economy. If you like buying stuff then thank a trucker for delivering it. Otherwise, the shelves in our stores would be empty! A week isn’t enough to appreciate drivers, be sure to thank them all year long!
