The Great American Truck Show Is Here


IFTA probably isn’t on your mind right now, and that’s just fine because you should be living it up at GATS, the Great American Trucking Show! It opens Thursday the 24th and runs through Saturday the 26th.

The show’s motto is ‘Where Trucking Improves’ and while this truck show provides events for pure entertainment, there will also be a number of educational seminars and events for you to take advantage of. So, what’s happening at GAT this year?

You can visit a number of celebrities, some of which will have their own booths for you to visit, and others will be hosting events and performing. Allie Knight the famous lady trucking youtuber will be there.

She now makes videos full time and you can pick her brain about her trucking experiences. Tony Justice the famous country singer and trucker will be around too! He will be hosting the Trucker Talent search and will be at Red Eye Radio’s Rendevous Booth.

Interested in new technology? Well then head on down to the Discovery Pavilion where you can discover the new trends emerging in the trucking industry. You can learn how new equipment works and even test out a few items for yourself.

You can check out GoFleet’s fleet management solutions, including their dash cams and ELD solution. They will even be providing a demo of their fleet management software that showcases their live tracking.

Tired of not clearing bridges or having to turn around to avoid them and reroute? Then check out what LSA will display, OWL. The Overhead Wire Laser-Detector that will detect overhead obstructions during transport. It even works at highway speeds!

Also, at this American Truck Show, you can visit tons of exhibitors, including tons of fleets looking to hire new drivings. While walking around with over 50,000 attendees you’ll learn about trucks, engines, technology, and could even find your new dream job!
