Merry Christmas From ExpressIFTA
|We understand that it’s the busiest time of year for trucking, so you might not be able to spend the day at home. That’s why we’re here to offer support and provide some tips for having a great Christmas day on the road.
Christmas On The Road
The first thing you should do is take some time to treat yourself. This can be done by splurging on some nice comfort food for yourself. Sit down at your favorite restaurant and put the calorie counting aside to get whatever you want. You could also get your favorite holiday candy or treat for your rig.
Bring Someone Along
Aren’t your kids out for Christmas break? Does your partner have time off work? If so bring them along on the road for a Christmas road trip! Take them to see amazing sights all across the country as they’re decorated for the holidays. If they don’t have enough time to take the trip then bring your dog along!
Stay Connected
Be sure to call everyone who is important to you to listen to what Santa brought them. You can also park your rig and video chat with your family to watch them open presents. This will let you see the joy on everyone’s faces and you will find happiness in the fact that your family is excited to speak with you.
Have Your Own Celebration Later
Think positively about how the hard work you’re doing now will pay off in the end and reschedule your Christmas celebration and holiday traditions for the day you’ll be home. Then you’ll have more time to plan the perfect gifts and you’ll have something to look forward to.
